With thanks to

Hello, dear readers,

Throughout our life, we must sometimes show gratitude towards people who contribute with their knowledge and help us be better or get some abilities/skills. This is the reason why I’m writing today. Consequently it is the subject of my new post.

For the last five years, I’ve leaded sedentary habits, so I thought that it had better change that situation. I explained this issue to my best friend and his wife Tania. She suggested a great activity which she was doing in a new body center, in the same street as their home. That proposal was dancing Latin rhythms such as cuban salsa, kumbia, bachata, and others, but without partners.

I’ve always dreamed about learning to dance since I was young, but I’ve never had time, money or perhaps both of them, I don’t remember it. The first months were a little embarrassing because I was the only boy at class and my skills like a dancer had always been disastrous. For this reason, I had to practice some steps at home until I felt more self-confident with my coordination. Finally, in spite of training so hard, the magic of dance penetred my body, and I started to dance a bit better than in the previous months.

At that point, an extraordinary teacher called: https://www.instagram.com/soniaguiu/?hl=es came to my life.

She always had a cheerful smile in her face, she was also really extrovert and her personality a bit crazy. These qualities made her a successful and awesome person. She was this kind of person who loved and enjoyed her job. Moreover, she transmited her motivation to theirs students when they performed a good step.

She repeated steps more frequently and she kept encouraging us until we felt a new energy and some renewed good feelings. We always tried to learn her choreographies in her classes. They were amazing and amusing. Thanks to have met such as awesome person, I’ve acquired an artistic facet.

«I’ll be always thankful for it»
